What is the Annual Recertification
Federal rules require that all Lifeline subscribers re-certify each year that they continue to qualify for Lifeline service by participating in a qualifying program or meeting state-specific income requirements. In addition to completing the recertification, all subscribers in Oklahoma and Puerto Rico, as well as some subscribers in Missouri, are required to submit a copy of eligibility documentation proving they participate in the Lifeline qualifying program they selected on their annual recertification. Once you complete your recertification, your Lifeline service will be automatically renewed for an additional year.
