Blue Jay Wireless is the socially conscious technology distributor. Operating in 18 states and expanding, we believe that everyone should have access to the safety and convenience of wireless service. Blue Jay Wireless participates in the federal Lifeline Program, which is designed to help low-income consumers gain access to important telephone services at reduced rates.

We believe in helping others, and that philosophy rings true throughout the company. Every employee is whole-heartedly on board with what Blue Jay stands for. It’s not about phones -- it’s about connecting people to employers, potential employers, family, and friends with a cell phone. Meet our Executive Staff. Each of them believes in the Blue Jay philosophy, and each has a vital role in making Blue Jay Wireless take flight.


Chief Executive Officer

David Wareikis is founder and CEO of Blue Jay Wireless, LLC. Mr. Wareikis has over 15 years of experience building, running and advising telecom companies and is an advocate for low-income consumer wireless and broadband needs. Mr. Wareikis is a member of the Board of Directors at The Samaritan Inn, a non-profit organization based in McKinney, Texas and the largest homeless shelter program in Collin County. Mr. Wareikis earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

David was once on unemployment for three months. He is so grateful to have had the support to get through the tough times and does not judge those that may be down in life and struggling. He can relate because he has been there, and he strives to create a system which empowers individuals to give back to the community and help society.

He is passionate about doing his best each day to make the most positive impact to society possible and to be a light in the darkness. David feels everyone should have a Top 5 Movies list, and his includes Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, Interstellar, Braveheart, and Rudy.


Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Blue Jay in 2015, Daniel spent eight years at KPMG. He performed financial audits of companies with revenues ranging from $5 million to more than $6 billion, in industries such as telecommunications, manufacturing and retail. Daniel’s experience working in diverse industries and within a wide range of company cultures gives him a unique perspective and skill set that he uses to constantly invigorate his team and encourage innovation. Daniel graduated first in his class at Texas A&M University, earning a BBA in accounting and an MS in finance.

Daniel is deeply passionate about helping others, especially children. All too often children are victims of their environments, given little hope to succeed, and often lack role models and people that are passionate about them. His favorite thing about Blue Jay? The people! It’s rare that a company is focused on the customer experience and community outreach over everything else.


Chief Compliance Officer

Lauren Moxley comes to Blue Jay Wireless directly from the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), the not-for-profit corporation designated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as the administrator of universal service. As a former Program Manager of Lifeline at USAC, Lauren is uniquely qualified for her position at Blue Jay. Lauren attained her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

She loves her dog, Enzo, and all animals, in fact. She enjoys painting, yoga and music. Lauren is passionate about female empowerment and gender equality, and is proud to be a part of Blue Jay, as it has a strong female presence throughout the company.


Chief Operating Officer

Angela has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications with an extensive background in billing systems and provisioning at both start-ups and large telecommunications companies, and that makes her uniquely qualified for her position at Blue Jay.

Family is important to Angela, and she believes in Blue Jay’s impact on families and the way the company enables people to stay connected to loved ones. She loves how rewarding it is to be a part of a company that can impact people’s lives in a positive way. Angela loves animals, dogs in particular, and has three of her own. Ask her about her vision for a free indoor/outdoor dog park with a kids playground and coffee bar for the adults!


Chief Information Officer

Danielle joined Blue Jay Wireless in 2014 as the Vice President of Operations. Her 20-year tenure in the telecommunications industry, added with her background in software and project/business management, paved the way to her promotion to Chief Information Officer. In both her professional and personal life, Danielle has a way of identifying issues, and creating solutions and processes to solve those issues. She is very hands-on and is always involved in the implementation of the solution, as well as managing the process.

Danielle’s passion is her family. She loves adventure, travel and the great outdoors. Community involvement and helping others also play a key role in her life. Her devotion to the community, along with her ability to take the lead on projects, has served her well in helping create programs and being an advocate for children with Asperger’s Syndrome. As a natural leader she has led a Girl Scout troop, served as President of her HOA, and chaired numerous committees at her church.
